Integrating Braintree

These instructions will create read-only access to a company's Braintree account. 


Create a Read-Only Role

    Login as the admin to the Braintree Control Panel here

    Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.

    Click Team from the drop-down menu.

    Click the Roles tab to see a list of your existing roles.

    Click the New Role button to create a new role >name the role Read Only.

    Enable the following permissions:
    1. Download transactions with masked payment data.
    2. Download vault records with masked payment data.
    3. Reporting.
    4. Recurring Billing.
      1. Download subscription records.
      2. View modifications.
      3. View subscription plans.
      4. View subscriptions.
      5. Search subscriptions.
    5. Dispute Management.
    6. Statements.
    7. Read-Only Access.
    8. Search.

Create a New User & Assign Role
    1
    Go to Settings > Users and Roles > New User.

    Create a new user using the email address provided on the onboarding page.

    Give the user API Access.
    4
    Assign the read only role you previously created.
    5
    Remember to check the box for assigning access to the merchant accounts.
