Facebook & Instagram Reconciliation

Blue Onion helps you track promotional credits, payouts, and sales tax remitted for Facebook and Instagram orders, making it easy to reconcile and report them correctly.


On an order, Meta may create three separate payments:

  1. Order
  2. Promotional credit applied
  3. Sales tax that Meta remits on your behalf

The order will be reconciled to the individual payments, and ultimately to the payout.

  • Access the details of a Meta order on the Orders page.

  • View all associated payments for the order, including Sale, Credit or Sales Tax Remitted on the Payments page.

  • Leverage the Journal Entry page to appropriately report each step of a Meta transaction.
