Cash-in-Transit

The Cash-in-Transit page gives you a quick summary of cash that has yet to settle into the bank account as of any particular date. The top section gives a summary of the orders and refunds from that period. It also takes into account any non-cash payment methods like gift cards that were sold or redeemed. It then takes the total of new accounts receivable and breaks it down by payment source.

The bottom section is a table that tells you if and when the cash was received for those orders and refunds.  Cash in period means that the cash was settled in the bank account during that time period.  Cash received out of period means the cash was settled into the bank account after the dates that were selected.  Cash in transit means that the cash is still pending.
